Idea: Dramatise how this might affect them, once India vs England ODI series begins.

Execution (1): Film

Title: #Grocery

We open on a mid aged man, walking out of a store with 4 bags full of groceries. He’s barely able to walk with all the weight.

We see him struggle on his way to the car, and dropping a few tomatoes on the way. He reaches his car, puts everything in the back seat and leaves.

We see him park the car and slap himself to get pumped to carry the weight upstairs.

We cut to him walking upstairs, holding a packet of bread in his mouth, and the rest of the bags on the verge of falling off from his hands. He’s all sweaty by the time he reaches home.

His wife opens the door. The house is full of small kids. It’s their son’s birthday party.

He awkwardly walks in, keeps everything down and looks at his wife. She’s puzzled and angry.

Wife: What is all this?

Husband: Groceries?

Wife: (Biting her teeth) I said Pastries! Not groceries!

He closes his eyes in disappointment and runs out again. Everyone stands there awkwardly.

Title: #Captain

SFX: A flight in motion, in-flight chit-chat, ding sounds for assistance, etc.

(The pilot begins his announcement through the PA system)

PILOT: Hello, this is Vijay Sharma - your Captain speaking. On behalf of my Co-captain…

(Pauses to check his Co-pilot’s name)

CO-PILOT: (Muffled voice) Roy

PILOT: Roy and the entire flight crew, welcome aboard! This is Delta flight 1-6…uhh

(He checks for the flight number)

SFX: Disturbed mic sounds

PILOT: 1-6-4-7, going from Mumbai to Delhi, Delhi to Kolkata.

SFX: Disturbed mic sounds

(He talks to the Co-pilot)

PILOT: (Muffled voice) Are we doing Delhi first?

CO-PILOT: (Muffled voice) Yes

PILOT: (Muffled voice) Alright

(Continues with the announcement)

PILOT: Our ETA for Delhi is set at 5:23pm and for Kolkata, at 1:20AM WHAT THE HELL….

SFX: Disturbed mic sounds. People start murmuring.

(He talks to the Co-pilot. He’s surprised and angry)

PILOT: (Muffled voice) Did you get this schedule?

SFX: Disturbed mic sounds.

(Co-pilot snatches the mic)

CO-PILOT: (Muffled voice) Just give me the mic!

SFX: The announcement audio starts fading away. The murmuring gets louder.

CO-PILOT: Thank you for flying with Delta Airways, ladies and gentlemen. Sit back and enjoy the flight.

Announcer VO: Its going to get hard to focus on other things.

Announcer VO: India vs England ODI series, 1st November onwards.

Announcer VO: Live on Star Sports and Hotstar.
